History In the early 1900s, in the Pacific Northwestern United States , historical records indicate that certain miners were becoming quite annoyed as they were continually hampered in their search for gold by the presence of large amounts of high grade copper ore within their mining claims . In the 1980s the founders of DDR Copper saw the future potential of copper and laid claim to what had historically been viewed as a hindrance to the search for gold. In April 2007, DDR re-opened the Pope Shenon mine in eastern Idaho. After more than two years of geological work and research to confirm the existence of high grade mineralization, DDR is poised to deliver tremendous value to its shareholders. |
